Vietnamese top badminton player Nguyen Tien Minh
lost to Hidayat Taufik of Indonesia 2-1 in the first round of the
Malaysia Open at the Putra Stadium in Bukit Jalil yesterday (January
16).
Nguyen Tien Minh will have no time to think about
his humiliating Asian Championships loss as he heads to Johor Bahru for
the Malaysia Open Grand Prix Gold in early May.
Vietnamese top badminton player Nguyen Tien Minh is likely to face
world No 1 Lee Chong Wei in the quarter-finals of the Malaysia Open
Super Series 2012.
